The XNR-400D Melt Flow Indexer is designed for measuring the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastic materials such as PE, PP, PC, nylon and ABS. The instrument supports common melt-flow testing methods including ISO 1133 and ASTM D1238.
The latest XNR-400D incorporates an upgraded furnace insulation design, intended to provide more stable thermal insulation during testing while supporting cleaner and more consistent operation.
The cutting system has also been optimized through an improved control algorithm and a precision stepper motor. The automatic cutting function helps reduce variability associated with manual cutting and improves consistency during repeated melt-flow tests.
The XNR-400D retains its established testing platform, including PLC control, touchscreen operation, micro printer, MFR/MVR testing functions and automatic calculation of test results.
With the latest improvements focused on furnace insulation and cutting control, the XNR-400D continues to provide a practical solution for routine melt-flow testing in plastics laboratories, quality control and material evaluation.
